Graded Practical Group Assignment #1: Case Report

DUE: Only one member of your team should upload your written report no later than 9 AM on the 18th of April 2024. (Your professor will create a link in the Moodle platform)

This project is worth 10% of the PEP grade.

Instructions

You are required to read and review the case study INSIDE PERU'S SECRET LUXURY SUPPLY CHAIN. Then, identify the critical information and analyze what has happened. Using information presented and discussed during class, answer the following questions.

Questions

1. Who are the stakeholders in this case and what is the nature of the stakeholder conflict described in it?
2. Is Loro Piana taking a shareholder primacy or stakeholder management approach to its relations with the Andean villagers? Explain your answer.
3. How is Loro Piana’s behavior an example of an ethical dilemma?
4. In what way could you say that Loro Piana is not a CSR company?
5. Is Loro Piana acting sustainably? Explain your answer.
